The massive stage took three-days to construct, the gigantic Electric Thunder tent was set up, the endless array of food, beverage and retail vendors came in droves and the atmosphere among Arizona country music faithful has reached a fevered pitch.
Brothers Osborne, Trace Adkins, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, Craig Campbell, Lonestar, Morgan Evans, High Valley, Brandon Lay, Austin Burke, Josh Abbott Band, Hunter Brothers, Abby Anderson, the Scooter Brown Band and weekend hosts, Williams & Ree all graced the massive main stage during what was an electrifying weekend!

Following a big win for Music Event Of The Year at this years ACM’s, hopefully Bentley and Brothers Osborne had some surprises in store when they played back-to-back during a spectacular Saturday evening lineup. Country Thunder Arizona is, of course, the reigning ACM Festival Of The Year.
The Sunday evening climax featured five-time Grammy, seven-time ACM and 10-time CMA winner, the incomparable Chris Stapleton. Sunday marked his first ever Country Thunder appearance. Uh, did we mention one of the greatest showmen in country music history? The one and only Tim McGraw brought the house down on Friday night!
Over at Electric Thunder . . . a massive nightly EDM dance party with Lucy Voll, David Fanning and DJ Hish, 2018’s biggest hit returned with the Dancing With The Thunder swing dancing competition, line-dancing, daytime recovery yoga and more!
Over on the Copperhead Stage, even more live music with A Boy Named Sioux, The Cole Trains, Drew Cooper, Harry Luge, Lauren Mayell, Jessa, Julia Rizik, Matt Farris and Ryan and the Renegades.

The world-renowned Budweiser Clydesdales appeared all weekend with a full-hitch parade through the campgrounds.
Country Thunder was amazing, and there’s nothing else in the world like it! Some of the most colorful fans in the world began passing through the camping gates early Wednesday morning.

The mass of country music fans and campers who converge on this sleepy little town every April have done it again. Huge crowds gathered at the Canyon Moon Ranch near Florence, beginning on Thursday, and peaking at near-capacity numbers for Stapleton’s Sunday evening closing performance.
“These fans have made Country Thunder Arizona one of the great music festival experiences in America,” says Festival CEO,” Troy Vollhoffer. “We build it with the biggest and best talent line-up possible, and they come out in droves year after year.
“They are one who create this amazing temporary city and fun vibe which makes it such a special event every spring.”
In addition to a soulful and scintillating headline performances from Stapleton, an epic one-two Saturday evening punch from homeboy Dierks Bentley, and Brothers Osborne, the triumphant return of Tim McGraw (his first CT Arizona performance in nearly a decade) and a killer Thursday evening kick-off from Brett Eldredge, CT Nation here also enjoyed a wide array of food and beverage options, carnival rides, sponsor activations, line and western swing dancing, yoga and EDM nights in the giant Electric Thunder tent.

Country Thunder Music Festivals has a 15-year history which boasts four other major multi-day events in North America. The organization also hosts festivals in Florida, Wisconsin, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Early bird tickets for 2020 sold out in just a few hours on Thursday, and clearly this gigantic camping and music fraternity is ready to do it all again next year!

Four-day passes are available for Country Thunder 2020 at the current GA price of only $130.00. Next year’s festival will take place from April 16-19, 2020. Order by phone at 1-866-388-0007. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram all @countrythunder.
