Kinsmen Big Valley Jamboree

Hi everyone, I am writing from Saskatchewan Canada where the Jamboree is Hot, Hot, Hot!  Kinsmen Big Valley Jamboree in Craven, Saskatchewan, turned out to be very successful sold out Jamboree. It was held on July 18-20, 1997 in Craven in the Qu'Appelle Valley. There are three days of fun with friends and neighbors.

They had a Main Stage and the Fort Whoop-Up Saloon. They also had a main street with stores, a lot of great places to eat, a huge beer garden on the grounds and a campground.

Main Stage performers were: Marilyn Faye Parney, Stephanie Thompson, Thomas Wade, Terry Kelly, Johnny Paycheck, Wade Hayes, Mark Chesnutt, Marty Grambo and Hurricane alley, Rachell Matkin, Chris Cummings, Williams & Ree, Lonestar, Charlie Major, Blackhawk, Tami Hunter, Rick Tippi, Joan Kennedy & Poverty Plainsmen, Prairie Oyster, Paul Brandt and Patty Loveless.

Fort Whoop-Up Saloon performers were: Porch Boys, Marty Grambo A Hurricane Alley, Valley Fest, Tammi Hunter, Faster Gun, Kidd Country, Terri Harris, Yahoos, and Doc Walker.

So if you are ever in Saskatchewan in July, be sure to drop in to Craven Saskatchewan to the Kinsmen Big Valley Jamboree. You will not be disappointed at all. See ya there next year. I would like to thank Kinsmen for making this article possible. I had a wonderful time at the Jamboree.
