TAMARA TIDWELL AND THE FIFTH WHEEL BAND![]() This small town girl has grown up listening to and singing country music almost all her life. Tamara, known to her friends as Tammy, began singing with her Daddy and Uncles at family gatherings since the age of five. She followed these musical roots throughout her teenage years, and has been playing professionally since 1983. Whether singing a soulful ballad, a waltz, or one of the latest Top 40 country hits; Tammy's musical style has earned her acclaim across the United States. Tammy is a very prolific songwriter, with a traditional country flavor, having written over 50 songs. One of her songs was featured in Neil Simon's play, "Lost In Yonkers", by Director/Actress Nancy Criss. Although she is currently unpublished, she is a member of both the Arizona Songwriters Association and is currently planning to issue a CD of original material that is scheduled to be released in early 2000. Tamara's other talents include playing drums & rhythm guitar. Her interests are trail riding, roping, fishing & just quiet country living.Tammy is teamed up with a group of exceptional musicians. Their sound is fresh yet standard--an eclectic blend of old time country mixed with a fresh balance of today's Nashville Sound! Their repertoire includes a wide variety of country standards, Top 40 and original material.
