Fairy Tale Performance For The Queen

Rhonda Vincent made her first appearance on the Thursday night "Opry Country Classics" on May 7, 2009. "It was a like a fairy tale; performing on the Opry, and singing the songs of my heros," Rhonda stated after standing in the coveted circle.

The Thursday night "Opry Country Classics" in it's beginning stages; is quickly becoming a fan favorite; as word spreads about the new concept.

"It's a bit different than a normal Opry appearance; with more of a historical theme," as Rhonda continues, "It brought back childhood memories for me; and I was thrilled to share those memories with the Opry audience."

Rhonda shared a story from 1973; when Jeanne Pruett appeared in Marceline, Missouri on the Frontier Jamboree; the very night "Satin Sheets" became a #1 song in Country Music. Ms Pruett invited a gifted 11 year old, Rhonda Vincent, to sing harmony on "Satin Sheets"; during her Missouri appearance. A memory Rhonda will never forget.

She also mentioned seeing Conway Twitty, and numerous other country music stars at the weekly show, where Rhonda and her family appeared.

The past few weeks have been a series of sold out shows from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia to Scottsdale, AZ. Rhonda rejoins her band today, as they ride the Martha White Bluegrass Express in traveling to LaGrange, GA, Trinty, AL, and ending the Mother's Day weekend with a military performance in Fort Benning, GA.
