Rhonda Towns To Serve As VIP Role Model In Fashion For Every Body 2007
NASHVILLE, Tennessee-Country music recording artist and professional model, Rhonda Towns has accepted the invitation to participate as a VIP role model at this year's Fashion For Every BodyT, a fashion show and musical event benefiting the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee.
The 2007 Fashion for Every Body event will be held at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday, October 14 (6PM-9PM).
Rhonda, who is an active performing and recording artist and model, celebrated the national release of her debut album I WANNA BE LOVED BY YOU under her own independent label (Dawn Records) in 2006. She released two singles from the CD ["I Wanna Be Loved By You" and "Somethin' Better"] as produced by the famed Harold Shedd, Norro Wilson and Jim Cotton. The success of the singles landed her positions on Music Row charts and put her on the pages of CMA Close-Up, County Weekly, Music Row, Power Source and Indie Islands magazines.
A professional on the performing stage, in front of a camera and on the runway, Rhonda has appeared in television commercials for Maxwell House, Toyota and Bounce, and in print advertisements for Dillards, K-Mart and designers Lori Weidner (Canada) and Sandra Salcedo (Texas). She appeared as a celebrity guest in the Mary Kay Exhibit Booth at CMA Fest 2007. She is also a regular model for REBAwear and Dillards and has modeled for the world-famous designer Manuel.
Rhonda joins Fashion For Every Body host, and award winning singer/songwriter, Deana Carter, and other celebrity guests including Sarah Buxton (Lyric Street Records), Texas trio Lantana (Karol Ann DeLong, Biz Haddock and Delene Richelle), Grace A. Gore (Miss Tennessee 2007) and Scott Reeves (Blue County) among several others-all of whom are donating their time and talents to this exclusive fashion and music charity event. Anastasia Brown will emcee.
"To reiterate their mission, this event is a celebration of 'people of all ages, shapes, sizes and backgrounds'," said Towns. "Every one person has a purpose in life. I'm extremely honored in the invitation to participate as a role model at this event to share this empowering message."
Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster on September 1. All proceeds will benefit the programs and services of the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee.
