Jack Greene & Jeannie Seely

The Opry stage lit up as Jack Greene & Jeannie Seely hit the circle to do a duet "Waltz  Across Texas" for the "Salute To Texas" segment of the Thursday night  "Country Classics" Opry show. This was history in the making as this was the very first time in 28 years that they have sung together as a duet on the stage of The Grand Ole Opry. The audience knew they were seeing something very special and showed their appreciation with a standing ovation that was well deserved.

Hopefully a repeat performance will be granted in the near future.  Jack & Jeannie were one of country music's top duets for 11 years.  This pair only improve, like fine wine they keep getting better with age.
