WINNING THE FIGHT FOR CHARITIES  

WHAT: The Celebrity Fight Night gala, now in its 14h year, is held to raise money for charity.  Recognized as one of the nation's elite charity events, Celebrity Fight Night is a star-studded evening presented in honor of featured guest, Muhammad Ali. Celebrities and professional athletes from all over the country participate in a night filled with incredible live auction items and live musical performances by many of today's brightest stars.

WHY: To benefit the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute as well as other worthy charities.

WHO: Long-time Arizona resident and businessman, Jimmy Walker started Celebrity Fight Night in 1994 in hopes of raising money for local charities through a celebrity charity event.  Each year, Celebrity Fight Night attracts celebrities from sports and entertainment.  This year Grammy Award-winning leading lady of country music Reba McEntire will return as the evening's emcee and will receive the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award, Kevin Costner will receive the Muhammad Ali Achievement Award and will perform at the after party with his band, Modern West, and Clive Davis, legendary music executive, founder of Arista and J Records and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will receive the Muhammad Ali Entrepreneur Award.  In addition, 14-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer, David Foster, will serve as Musical Director. 

HISTORY: Recognized as one of the nation's elite charity events, this power-packed evening not only leaves a lasting impression on attendees, it provides significant dollars for various charities.  In thirteen years, Celebrity Fight Night has raised more than $45 million dollars.
