ENTERPRISE, Alabama (April 30, 2009)-The second annual Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival, scheduled to take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 4 - 6, 2009, in Enterprise, AL, is more than just spectacular music.  It's a 3-day/3-night, all-encompassing, community, entertainment and arts experience.

Created to cater to live music enthusiasts and adventurous thrill seekers, the Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival is an outdoor recreation and entertainment megaplex that sprawls across 600 acres of open field and will host performances by award winning acts, (from the Country, Classic Rock, and Alternative music genres) serving up more fun than you can ask for.

With a variety of on site activities and entertainment hubs, the sounds of music and fun will surround the Verizon Wireless BamaJam festival where more than 35 world-class stars will appear (on the three separate stages) and the midway will dazzle.

BamaJammers can "shop 'til they drop" on the Verizon Wireless BamaJam grounds where an assortment of quality arts and crafts, and handmade items from local craftsmen, artisans and various vendors can be found. Thrifters will find sterling silver jewelry, custom-designed handbags, cowboy hats and western wear, Birkenstock footwear, stylized Southern Belle T-shirts and "candid camera" souvenir photos.

Outdoor Food Court
Verizon Wireless BamaJam will boast a variety of great food choices to satisfy even the most fastidious palate. From the culinary artist, gourmet chef, hash slinger, hamburglar or deep fat fryer, the festival menu is "all good" in good taste. Among the many options, hungry BamaJammers can enjoy barbeque, bloomin' onions, boiled peanuts and roasted corn.  Pepsi-Cola and Budweiser products will also be available to quench a big BamaJammer thirst.

Budweiser BamaSlam Saloon Stage
The world's largest outdoor honky tonk! With live entertainment nightly (following the main shows every evening), the 50,000 sq. ft. saloon will stage performances by an array of local and regional acts. Contests and give-aways will be held nightly.  Also appearing at the Budweiser BamaSlam Saloon Stage will be the grand prize winners of the Jim Beam BamaJam Battle of the Bands contest earlier this spring.  On Saturday, the Saloon will transform into a runway to host once again the Miss BamaJam swimsuit competition.

Redneck Weddings
As part of a radio-listener contest [presented by Kat Country (WAKT, Panama City, FL) and Kissin' 99.3 (WKCN, Columbus, GA)], two couples will wed on site, Saturday, June 6, at the Budweiser stage located in the BamaSlam Saloon. Everyone's invited!

Kid's Thrill Zone
The BamaJam Thrill Zone is every kid's kingdom.  With plenty of room to romp and roam, kids can bounce up-and-down on the giant-sized inflatables, bungee jump and then cool off under the water sprinklers.

Radio Village
Radio stations from all across the Southeast will be on site broadcasting live from Verizon Wireless BamaJam.  Radio fans can stop by to visit with their favorite DJ's.

Jumbo-Tron
Must-see-reality-TV, the larger-than-life Verizon Wireless BamaJam Jumbo-Tron will feature entertaining vignettes including snippets of artist interviews, music videos and performances, and cameo interviews with festival-goers.

Campsites & RV Park

A home-away-from-home, the Verizon Wireless BamaJam grounds will accommodate those with a hunger for the great outdoors offering four options to satisfy the nature lover:

1)  Pitch-A-Tent: The park features more than 300 campsites for those who want to pitch a tent and sleep under the stars.
Site Fee:  $75
2)  Primitive RV Park:  The Primitive RV Park will comfortably situate over 2,000 RVs.  (No amenities or hook-ups available.)
Site Fee:  $150
3)  Premium RV Campground:  The Premium RV Campground is complete with hook-ups and access to water.  Site Fee: $500
4)  Stay N' Play Pre-Parked RV Camp: As a newly added outdoor accommodation, the Premium RV Campground will be located adjacent to the Primitive RV Park. BamaJam adventurers can live it up in the great outdoors in a "situated" RV that sleeps up to six complete with power hook-ups, water and air conditioning. 
Rental Fee:  $2,500 (plus a $500 damage deposit)
For an additional $150 p.p., linens, a blanket and pillow will be included.

Budweiser Lager Sessions Lounge

The Budweiser Lager Sessions Lounge is a hot place for adult festival-goers to cool down.  BamaJammers can listen to some great live music while misting station.  The Budweiser Lager Sessions Lounge is eco-friendly featuring energy-saving LED lights, solar panels (that power the recharge stations), recycled water at the misting station and furnishings all made from recycled materials.

Verizon Wireless Mobile Marketing Experience

Title sponsor, Verizon Wireless will be on site at BamaJam to introduce and demonstrate the latest line of cell phones and gadgets as well as all the updated telecommunications applications specific to an individual BamaJammer's phone. Verizon Wireless Mobile Marketing Experience will also be an intimate music lounge where folks can sit and listen comfortably in the shade.

The Army Interactive Military Experience & Navy Flight Simulator Experience

The U.S. Army will fill over 3600 square feet with interactive opportunities for all ages including the new Multiple Exhibit Vehicle equipped with 800 watts of competition JL Audio equipment, LIVE ACTION Clarion cameras and X-Box gaming system.

The U.S. Navy will present two flight simulators offering participants a firsthand, interactive experience they won't forget. These 12-passenger mobile units are designed for easy accessibility; each simulator features live-action Navy films programmed to move in sync with point-of-view imagery presented on a large screen.
