We Fest 2000 Story & Photos by Glen R. Forrester "Lets go in Triple 0"---This was the slogan for the 2000 We Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This year’s We Fest was held August 4-6, 2000 at the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. It was the best music festival I attended all summer. If you ever want to attend a music festival, this is the one I would recommend. This year’s lineup was unreal. The lineup included Big House, Montgomery-Gentry, Chris LeDoux, Toby Keith, John Michael Montgomery, Clark Family Experience, Kathy Mattea, Neal McCoy, Reba McEntire, Lila McCann, John Berry, Suzy Bogguss, Billy Dean, Martina McBride and Kenny Rogers. I want to thank the staff of We Fest for your warm hospitality and great music. I look forward to next years We Fest 2001. See you there! |
