Grammy Awards 2000

The Grammy Awards were held February 23, 2000 in Los Angleles at the new Staples Center. As a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, I was very honored to attend this year's Grammy Awards. This year's event was attended by many of the Country Music Entertainers including Emmylou Harris, Marty Stuart, Connie Smith, Steve Wariner, Jim Lauderdale, Glen Campbell, Ricky Skaggs, Ray Benson and Asleep At The Wheel, The Dixie Chicks, George Jones, Alabama's Jeff Cook, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Dwight Yoakam, Vince Gill Clint Black, Lisa Hartman and Martina McBride.

Asleep At The Wheel, Marty Stuart and Connie Smith performed at the Post-Awards party held at the beautiful and historic Reagal Biltmore Hotel.
